  very disappointed with the department that handles crash reports. I have been calling them for the past week and leaving messages and no one has called back. I was involved in an accident in newton and was given a slip by the officer, to pick up or check online for copy of report. I live very far from newton and am always working, so i asked my brother to stop in get the report for me and they did not give it to him. So i went in today (long drive) to pick it up myself and did not give me a copy. I have no idea what's going on. i have been checking online too and nothing. I guess they are just slow but i need to report it to the insurance and police report has all information.

  Talked with a dispatcher, and she had officers at the location needed within minutes. She was so incredibly helpful in a nerve-wracking situation.

  People say that police officers are rude when approaching a delicate situation. Ok get it! Its is stressful and you are dealing with the unknown! But how about when you walk into a police departament like the one in Newton WHERE THEY DONT HAVE A WORRY IN THE WORLD!??? What is the excuse for being rude and feeling entitled?I was just looking for a police traffic report. They police in general needs people skills, a lot of them have NONE! And this one of the many posts here that they wont read or bother about it!
